Makita active feedback sensing technology is a built-in smart function that minimises the effect of kickback. The technology uses an onboard accelerometer to measure rotation and will electronically turn off the motor if rotation is suddenly forced to stop. In addition, the torque-limiting clutch is engineered to prevent gear damage by automatically disengaging the gears.
