How to claim your FREE battery
Once you have purchased one of the XGT 40V Max qualifying products below, you have to submit your claim online on the Makita redemption page within 28 days from the date of purchase. Claims must be made by 31st March 2021!
Terms & Conditions:
Eligible Customers who make a Qualifying Purchase of a listed model of the Makita XGT 40v Max range from participating UK resellers will be entitled to claim one Makita (BL4025) 2.5Ah XGT battery;
Claims for Free Gifts must be redeemed within 28-days of making a Qualifying Purchase, after which the Offer will expire.
Only listed models with GD101 / GD102 / GD103 suffix will qualify for the redemption offer.
Body only models with Z or DZ suffix are not applicable / do not qualify for redemption claims.
One Free Gift per Qualifying Purchase.
Eligibility and Participation:
This Offer is open to applicants, aged over 18, who make a Qualifying Purchase (“Eligible Customers”) from a UK reseller. If a customer returns their MAKITA (UK) LIMITED Qualifying Purchase within 28 days of purchase they will not be eligible for this Offer.
A “Qualifying Purchase” is a MAKITA (UK) LIMITED product with the Model Number listed in the table above, between 1st July 2020 to 31st March 2021 (“Offer Period”).
Delivery of any promotional product offered free of charge as part of this offer is only applicable for delivery within the UK (please ensure that a valid UK postal address is included for any claim application).
Applications for redemption products to be delivered outside of the UK cannot be accepted as part of this offer.
How to claim:
Within 28 days of making a Qualifying Purchase, Eligible Customers must visit www.makitauk.com/redemption.html and complete the online application form to submit a claim.
Claims can only be made by Trade and Retail Customers, claims submitted by Makita Distributors or Stockists will be disqualified.
Following verification and validation of their claim, Eligible Customers will receive their Free Gift after 30 days, and no later than 35 days, so that any product returns are accounted for.
Other important terms:
Qualifying Purchase will be subject to its own terms and conditions and eligibility criteria. Participants should familiarise themselves with these before participating in this Offer.
Where a Participant wishes to return their Qualifying Purchase, they are no longer eligible to participate in this Offer.
No applications from organised groups, third parties, agents, macros or other automated means, will be allowed. Incomplete applications or applications that are not in accordance with these Terms or the application instructions will be rejected.
Entitlement to the Free Gift is personal to the Participant and cannot be transferred, unless otherwise permitted by MAKITA (UK) LIMITED.
Responsibility is not accepted for applications damaged, lost, or delayed as a result of any computer hardware, network or software failure of any kind.
Applicants should retain a copy of their receipt as proof of purchase.
MAKITA (UK) LIMITED reserves the right to remove promotional material from circulation, amend these Terms or withdraw the Offer at any point during the Offer Period. In the case of amendment or withdrawal a notice will be posted at the top of these Terms. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Free Gift for an alternative of equal or greater value. In the event of any dispute the decision of the Promoter is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter does not accept any liability for any loss or damage occurring as a result of taking up the Free Gift, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Personal data supplied for the Offer will only be used for the administration of the Offer, but may be passed on to third party suppliers only as required for fulfilment or delivery of the Gift.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
