Metabo are a german powerhouse when it comes to power tools and accessories.  They still operate from a HQ in Nürtingen but they also have a huge worldwide presence.  Their main aim is to provide professional power tool solutions with their ever expanding range.  From Metabo Drills and Metabo Saws to Metabo Cordless Kits, they’ve got you covered whether it’s onsite construction or a home renovation, Metabo won’t let you down.

History of Metabo

Starting out in 1923, Albert Schnizler created his first hand held drill.  This is where the Metabo story began. The decades that followed saw many innovative power tools being developed including the legendary electrical hand held drill, the Metabo 750, the first impact drill with electronic speed control and the first angle grinder with the S-automatic safety clutch.  In more recent times, Metabo changed its battery pack range to lithium-ion technology, introduced a range specifically for processing stainless steel and in 2013 introduced a 5.2 Ah battery pack which at the time, was the most powerful in the world. Fast forward to 2018 and Metabo introduced a higher power 4.0 Ah and 8.0 Ah LiHD battery packs, from 400 to 3200 watts, the world's most powerful technology, pretty impressive.
