Types of welders we sell

TIG inverter welders

TIG inverter welders use a non-consumable tungsten electrode to produce the weld. TIG welders are most commonly used for welding thin sections of stainless steel and non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, magnesium, and copper alloys. Tig welding gives the operator greater control over the weld when compared to competing processes such as shielded metal arc welding and gas metal arc welding, allowing for stronger, higher quality welds. We stock TIG inverter welders from trusted brands such as Parweld, SIP, Sealey and more.

MIG welders

Our selection of MIG welders use a wire electrode fed through a welding gun to create an electric arc between the wire and the metal being welded. The arc melts the wire, which is then deposited to create the weld. MIG welding is a good option for most welding jobs because it effectively binds most metals you’ll be working with. MIG welders can be used to create a reliable bond on stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminium. MIG welders are a common choice for mechanics thanks to their effectiveness when working with common metals. MIG welding is generally considered a cost-effective welding process as MIG welding Equipment often costs less than the equipment needed for other welding processes, making them a great option for those who are planning on using their welder for various DIY applications.

Plasma cutters

Plasma cutters are precision tools that can cut most types of metal and thicknesses using an accelerated jet of hot plasma. These versatile metal cutting tools are commonly used in fabrication shops, automotive repair, industrial construction, and salvage and scrapping operations. Some common metals often cut with a plasma torch include steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper.

Spot welders

Spot welders are most commonly used for welding two or more metal sheets together by applying pressure and heat via an electrical current. Spot welders are also frequently used by mechanics and auto body shops since they allow for quick and easy bonding of sheet metals. Metals that can be reliably spot welded include low-carbon steels, aluminium, stainless steels, galvanised steels and more.
