What’s the different between a chop saw and a cut off saw?
The biggest difference between a chop saw and a cut off saw is that cut off saws sit on fixed rails which the workpiece is placed on before cutting. Cut off saws on the other hand, feature no fixed track and must be aimed and operated fully by hand. Chop saws are also only designed for lighter work on smaller workpieces, whereas cut off saws are much more powerful and versatile.
