The MAKDSS611Z 165mm circular saw has a no load speed of 3700 rpm, a maximum depth of cut of 57 mm at 90 degrees and a maximum depth of 40 mm at 45 degrees, making it excellent for a variety of applications. Although the LED Job light, positive stop at 45 degrees, blower function, and electric brake have been removed, the Makita DSS611 still has a lightweight design, 3.1kg, portability, and high performance. This makes for a much better tool overall.
The Makita DSS611Z LXT circular saw has a tough 16-tooth TCT blade for precision cutting through plywood, MDF, and wood, as well as bevel cuts up to 50°. The tool's 3.1kg weight and soft-grip handle make it easy to use even on lengthy operations, and the guiding rule ensures an accurate finish for parallel cuts. A spindle lock and riving knife to prevent kickback during cutting are safety measures. All Makita 18V LXT lithium batteries are compatible with the Makita DSS611Z.
