Shipping

Toolden is proud to offer free delivery on all orders to UK Mainland addresses for orders over the value of £50*.

Your delivery method is chosen based on the value of your total order. Orders will be shipped via Royal Mail, FedEx or DPD.

For non UK mainland addresses your delivery charge will be calculated at checkout.

We aim to dispatch all orders within 2-3 working days (not applicable to all orders), we do also offer direct delivery from some of our partnered manufacturers.

All UK mainland customers should expect to receive their orders no longer than 5 working days after their order is placed. If your goods have not been received after 6 working days, please email admin@toolden.co.uk and we will investigate further. Please allow extended time for European deliveries.

Items we hold in stock are available to be dispatched from our network of warehouses within the United Kingdom. Whilst we hold a high level of stock in our Ellon-based warehouse, due to the vast range of items available through our website it is not possible for all stock to be held in a single location. Therefore, our items in stock are held in various warehouses located within the United Kingdom.

 

High Value PIN Deliveries

For orders of £280 and over that qualify for DPD delivery, and orders paid for on Finance, DPD have introduced a process where the customer must provide a unique 4-digit PIN code to the driver to enable the driver to release the parcel to them.

You will receive notifications on the status of your delivery via Email, SMS, and the DPD app. You can also track the parcel’s location in real-time via the DPD app.

On the day of parcel delivery, you will receive a unique PIN code via email or SMS message – this is required to complete the parcel delivery. The delivery driver will be able to resend your PIN at your door if you have lost it.

To take full control of your delivery we encourage all customers to download the DPD App from your phone app store. This will give you complete control over your delivery and allow you to track and manage it from the minute it leaves our warehouse.

 

Returns Policy

Item(s) not required:

We will endeavour to provide as much information within the content of our product pages to allow you to make an informed decision about your purchase. However, there is always the possibility that the product isn't quite what you were looking for, or you might have ordered the wrong size.

Should you require to return any item**, you can do so within 30 days of receipt of the item for a full refund (less shipping) or exchange.

To begin the process of returning any item(s) back to us please fill in the Returns Form*** and send this back with your item(s) to the below address:

You will have to arrange the return of the goods yourself and we advise that this is sent on a tracked service.

If delivery is being refused from our designated courier, the return cost to us will be charged or deducted from the refund amount. The fee will vary based on the location and product weight/dimension.

If you change your mind after your goods have been invoiced or dispatched, we will charge you the cost of having the goods returned to us.

If returning an item back to us, once received, our returns team will email you confirming receipt of your item(s). If you do not receive an email within 3-4 working days, please email admin@toolden.co.uk or call our Customer Services Team on 01358 726719.  

We will refund any amount due to you within 14 days from the day we receive the item(s) back and they have been inspected to be complete.

 

Incorrectly supplied item(s):

We will always try to ensure that the correct item(s) is delivered to you, however, we are only human and occasionally a mistake can happen.

Should we supply any incorrect item(s), please notify us within 48 hours of receipt of item on 01358 726719 or through email by filling out the form on the Contact Us page

 

Faulty or Damaged item(s):

We only stock the very best items from our reputed suppliers / manufacturers. However, occasionally an item may be received that has a fault or has been damaged in transit.

If upon receipt of any item(s) that seems to have a fault or has been damaged in transit, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt of item on 01358 726719 or through email on admin@toolden.co.uk. For damages in transit, please email the images of the damage, packaging and the label.

We will then arrange for the item(s) to be picked up for inspection. After inspection and once we are satisfied that there is a fault, we will either replace the item(s) or arrange for a full refund of the item(s). Please ensure you do this within 30 days of receiving your item(s).

All our power tools come with a manufacturer’s warranty which ranges from 1 year to 2-3 years**** (applicable to items that have been registered on the relevant manufacturers website).

We highly advise to register all tools with-in 28 days of purchase to benefit from an upgraded warranty and in most cases a direct collection by the manufacturer of the tool for a warranty inspection and repair. 

Vacuums/Extractors: When returning a vacuum or extractor product for any reason please ensure the dust bag is emptied/removed and disposed of. Failure to do so may result in your return being rejected/delayed and additional charges being applied.

 

*Certain heavier/bulkier items might incur additional charges. The additional fee will be clearly stated at the checkout, before placing the order.
**All items must be in their original packaging (where applicable) and unused. We are unable to accept return of a product / products which is not in its original, undamaged packaging.
***If your item is returned without a form, there may be a delay in processing any refund or replacement
