Yes, Makita XGT products are guaranteed to be free from defects and in both workmanship and material from one year of the date of purchase. This means that if the product fails due to defects in material or workmanship, Makita will replace it free of charge. What is the weight of the XGT batteries?

The 40V XGT 4.0 Ah battery weighs 1,0 kg and the 40V XGT 2.5 Ah battery weighs 0,7 kg.

Can I use my LXT batteries on a XGT machine or vice versa?

Unfortunately you cannot. Makita has chosen to use the latest, most powerful technology on the XGT platform rather than opting for interchangeability.

Can I charge XGT batteries on LXT fast chargers?

The XGT batteries are not compatible with the LXT fast chargers. Likewise, you cannot charge LXt batteries on an XGT charger.
