FAQs

How much pressure does a Milwaukee grease gun have?

The Milwaukee M18 cordless grease gun has a maximum operating pressure of 10,000 PSI (pounds per square inch). This pressure is generated by an 18V lithium-ion battery, which provides a consistent and powerful grease output.

The grease gun is designed to dispense a variety of grease materials, including high-viscosity lithium and lithium complex greases. With a maximum pressure of 10,000 PSI, it is capable of dispensing grease into fittings with tight tolerances and in hard-to-reach areas.

How much grease does a Milwaukee grease gun dispense per pump?

The Milwaukee M18 cordless grease gun dispenses grease at a rate of up to 10 oz per minute. The actual amount of grease dispensed per pump will depend on several factors, including the viscosity of the grease, the temperature of the grease, and the pressure being applied to the grease gun.

Generally, a single pump of the trigger will dispense a small amount of grease, typically in the range of a few millilitres. To dispense a larger amount of grease, you would need to pump the trigger multiple times. The Milwaukee grease gun is equipped with an adjustable stroke control that allows you to adjust the amount of grease dispensed per pump, making it easier to control the amount of grease applied to each fitting.

Do you need an air compressor for grease gun?

Not all grease guns require an air compressor to operate. There are several types of grease guns available, including manual, battery-powered, and pneumatic grease guns.

Manual grease guns are operated by hand and do not require an air compressor. They typically have a lever or plunger that is used to build up pressure, which is then released to dispense the grease.

Battery-powered grease guns are powered by an internal rechargeable battery. They do not require an air compressor and are ideal for use in situations where an air supply is not available.

Pneumatic grease guns, on the other hand, are powered by compressed air and do require an air compressor to operate. They are typically more powerful than manual or battery-powered grease guns and are commonly used in industrial and automotive applications.
