Warranty exclusions
The warranty does not apply in the following situations:
-
If the original serial number is removed or tampered with
-
If the product has been repaired, serviced, or otherwise interfered with by anyone other than an authorised Imex repairer
-
If the product is damaged due to dropping, accident, misuse, dust or water ingress, incorrect usage, leaking batteries, wrong battery voltage, use outside the specified temperature range, or for purposes other than those intended
-
If the product is rented out
To make a warranty claim, the customer must return the product and proof of purchase at their own expense to the place of purchase or to an authorised dealer as directed by Imex. Imex will then repair or replace the product and return it. If the fault is not deemed to be covered under warranty due to the above exclusions, the customer will be responsible for any costs related to replacement parts, labour, or transport.
Please note: Calibration is not covered under warranty. Users are responsible for regularly checking calibration as outlined in the instruction manuals. A re-calibration service is available; contact Imex for further details.
