The Makita LS004GZ01 XGT® 40V Max Slide Compound Mitre Saw is a highly efficient, brushless cordless saw designed for demanding use. Powered by the XGT® 40V max battery, it delivers exceptional power and features a single sliding system with a rail-forward design, allowing placement against a wall to maximise workspace. It offers precise mitre angles up to 60° and bevel angles up to 48°, with an LED light to illuminate the work area. The saw, sold as a tool only (battery and charger not included), boasts a brushless, maintenance-free motor for long life. The rail-forward design and smooth single-sliding system enhance its high-precision cutting. A large bevel lock lever and precision mitre angle adjustment, easily controlled via a knob on the turn base, add to its ease of use. Extendable sub-tables stabilise long material cuts, and the Auto-start Wireless System (AWS) connects to a vacuum cleaner via Bluetooth for efficient dust extraction. Additional features include a built-in fluorescent light, a front knob for easy bevel angle adjustments, a one-touch slide lock, and an ergonomic rubberised D-handle for comfortable operation.
