Trend HINGE/JIG Hinge Recessing Jig

The Trend HINGE/JIG Hinge Recessing Jig is a time-saving, precision tool designed for accurately cutting hinge recesses in timber-based doors. With minimal setup time, it increases productivity in both on-site work and joinery shops. The jig features four apertures to meet fire door requirements and eliminates the need for conventional marking out, as the hinge itself is used as the pattern. It ensures clean, accurate recesses every time and is suitable for inside and outside doors, rebated frames, and fixed stops up to 25mm thick. Designed for use with a light-duty plunge router (1/4-inch collet), it requires a long-reach 12mm cutter for best results. The angled position slots prevent movement, ensuring precise cuts. Additional accessories like the Unibase may be required for compatibility with certain routers.
