Can I use 18V batteries with a FlexVolt saw?
Unfortunately 18V batteries cannot be used with a FlexVolt saw – they are only compatible with 54V/18V FlexVolt batteries. The more powerful motor requires the extra voltage from the 54V batteries to function properly. You can however use FlexVolt batteries with existing 18V XR tools.
