This 21-piece VDE kit equips you for safe, de-energised work—or live work up to 1,000 V—with everything stowed in a robust, hook-and-loop belt pouch that can clip onto Wera 2go gear, a wall or a trolley. It centres on two ratcheting handles: an 837 i VDE bit-holding screwdriver and an 817 VDE blade-holding driver, both accepting Wera’s insulated blades. Fourteen 157 mm blades are included, most with a slimmed-down shaft so you can reach deeply recessed screws and springs (the slim versions cover slotted, Phillips, Pozidriv and TORX®; only the 0.4 × 2.5 slotted and TX 10 TORX® blades retain a standard diameter). Wera’s ‘Take it easy’ finder—colour bands and laser-etched sizes—means you grab the right profile at a glance.

Every tool is individually tested to IEC 60900 at 10 kV to guarantee protection at 1 kV. Completing the set is a pair of Knipex 08 26 185 VDE needle-nose combination pliers with a high-leverage joint, induction-hardened cutters for soft to hard wire, and a milled groove for gripping nails, pins or bolts. Chrome plating wards off rust, while fully insulated multi-component grips keep you comfortable and safe.
