The drill has has a Magnesium alloy gearbox and a unique high power mode which delivers up to 4.2 Joules of impact energy. It offers electronic speed pre-selection and has constant electronics with a soft start. For comfortable prolonged use the BP 330CE SDS Plus Rotary Hammer Drill features an anti-vibration system on both the rear and front handle.
