One Year Limited Warranty

If this product fails under normal use within one year from the date of purchase due to a defect in workmanship or material, QEP will repair and/or replace it free of charge if the product is returned to the retailer/distributor where it was originally purchased.  Any claim under this warranty must be made within one (1) year of the date of purchase of the product.  To make a claim under the warranty, take the product with proof of purchase (receipt) to the store where you purchased the product or contact Q.E.P. Co., Inc. or one of its subsidiaries in your country of purchase.  This warranty is provided in addition to other rights and remedies you have under law and is applicable within the country of purchase.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR TO THE PRODUCT, OR ANY DAMAGE THAT RESULTS FROM ACCIDENT, MISUSE, ABUSE, OR NEGLIGENCE.  EXPENDABLE COMPONENTS SUCH AS KNIFE AND SCRAPER BLADES, SAW BLADES, CARRYING CASES, AND VINYL HANDLE COVERS ARE EXCLUDED FROM THIS WARRANTY.

QEP’s’ obligation under this warranty is limited to repair and/or replacement of the product.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES.  QEP DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  IN NO EVENT SHALL QEP BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IF THE PRODUCT OR ANY OF ITS COMPONENTS ARE MODIFIED, ALTERED OR IN ANY WAY CHANGED, OR IF THE PRODUCT IS USED IN A MANNER OR WITH A BLADE THAT IS NOT RECOMMENDED BY QEP.

Some states and countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state and country to country.

Buyer assumes all risk of use, handling, and storage of the product not in strict accordance with the instructions.

For Australian Buyers:  Our products come with guarantees which cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.  You are entitled to replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.  You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

For New Zealand Buyers:  Our products come with guarantees which cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Law.
