The Makita BL1830 18V 3.0Ah LXT Lithium-Ion Battery (Twin Pack) is a high-performance power solution for Makita cordless power tools in the 18V LXT range, ideal for professional tradespeople and serious DIY users who need dependable runtime on site. Each 3.0Ah pack uses high energy density Lithium-Ion cells to deliver more working capacity over its lifetime than older Ni-Cad and Ni-MH technologies, while remaining significantly lighter to help reduce user fatigue during extended use. Fast charging capability allows a full charge in as little as 22 minutes with compatible Makita DC18RC chargers, keeping downtime to a minimum, and the integrated LED battery capacity indicators make it easy to monitor remaining charge at a glance. The robust, shock-absorbing slide-on housing is designed to cope with demanding jobsite conditions, and Makita Star Protection electronics support protection against overload, over-discharge and overheating when used with Star marked tools.
