The Milwaukee 48136759 Impact Wood Auger Bit is a 19mm x 460mm long series bit designed for effective and effortless drilling in various types of wood, including hard, soft, wet, and treated woods, as well as plywood, chipboard, and wood-plastic composites. It is compatible with corded and cordless drills, including impact wrenches, which enables easier, one-handed drilling with reduced effort—ideal for tasks that require drilling above head height or on a ladder. Its special zone-hardening process produces a tough shank and durable tip, while the Through-Center head geometry ensures efficient chip removal for smooth, continuous drilling. A polished and powder-coated flute design helps prevent chip clogging, and the sharp, resharpenable cutting lips ensure clean holes. It has a 7/16" shank and requires an adapter (48660061) for use with ½″ impact wrenches.
