The DeWalt DT10640 is designed to be used with cordless machines and is ideal for cutting plywood, natural wood, and MDF. The blade has a diameter of 165mm and a bore size of 20mm. It has 40 teeth made from a proprietary grade of carbide that is extremely strong, resulting in longer usable life and reduced chipping and breaking between sharpens. The blade also features ultra-sharp carbide teeth that reduce splintering, premium-grade carbide, and laser-cut expansion slots that reduce vibration, giving a smoother cut.

The DT10640-QZ has a thin kerf (cutting width) to ensure that less push force is required by the user and that they cut straighter with reduced binding. The durable teeth stay sharp for a long time with reduced breakage. The blade is ideal for ripping and cross-cutting natural timbers and will cut composite wood-based sheet materials such as plywood, MDF, and chipboard.
