The Dewalt DWST08061-1 ToughSystem 2.0 18V Task Box Light is a versatile storage and lighting solution that is designed to work with the Dewalt Toughsystem platform. The open tote design is similar to other recent Dewalt ToughSystem 2.0 half-width cases, making it ideal for carrying a wide range of power tools, hand tools, and other items. The tote includes ToughSystem connectivity on the base side, which allows you to easily connect it to other cases in the range using the Auto-Latch Side Staking latches.
The tool box features visible IP65 water seals that help to prevent dust and water from entering the case during transport, protecting your tools from the elements.
The lid of the case is where things get interesting. Two bright LED light panels work together with the case or independently to provide illumination to any work area. The LED work lights deliver up to 4000 lumens and can be turned up to 360 degrees to suit your needs. Whether you need precision lighting or just want to brighten up a dark workspace, this light has got you covered.
The light is powered by 18V XR batteries and can be used on the floor, on top of a ToughSystem box tower, or from a lighting tripod. If you have the capacity, you can even hang it from above. Each light can be adjusted over 7 different illumination modes, and a power display on the front lets you know how much battery life you have left.
