Powered by the DEWALT 18V XR platform, its high-efficiency brushless motor and 30cm Oregon bar and chain deliver up to 70 cuts of 4x4" pressure-treated spruce per charge when paired with a suitable 5Ah battery. Automatic chain oiling helps keep the bar and chain running smoothly, while tool-free bar fitment and chain tensioning make on-the-job adjustments quick and straightforward. A variable speed trigger provides precise control without the hassle of pull starting, and the chain brake stops the chain in less than 1 second for added safety. Lightweight with an overmould auxiliary handle, it is easy to manoeuvre around the garden or jobsite. This model is supplied as a bare unit with 30cm bar and chain included; batteries and charger are available separately within the 18V XR system.
