Makita CLX224AJ 12V Max Impact & Drill Driver Combo Kit with 2x 2.0Ah Batteries

Makita have recently re-branded their new 10.8v CXT 'Slide' range to 12v MAX. The Makita CLX224AJ Combo Kit includes a DF333D Drill Driver and TD110D Impact Driver. The kit comes complete with 2x BL1021B 12v MAX 2.0Ah slide batteries, DC10WD 10.8v / 12v MAX battery charger and a Makpac connector case (type 1) with plastic inlay.

The Makita TD110D 12v Max impact driver is a member of the CXT (Compact Extreme Technology) line of powerful, portable tools that are constructed with the kind of unwavering quality you'd expect from the UK's top power tool producer. The 12v Lithium-Ion slide-in batteries in all CXT tools have multi-contact terminals to provide steady contact even during intense work vibration, LED fuel gauge indicators, and individual cell monitoring with circuit protection. The Makita TD110D can easily drive screws up to 90 mm into wood and tighten bolts up to M12 thanks to its impressive maximum torque of 110 Nm. A 1/4" sliding chuck, an LED task light for better visibility, and an ergonomic soft-grip handle that fits your hand pleasantly are further advantages.

The newest in Makita's line of small drill drivers is the DF333D CXT. Powered by a 12v MAX slide-in Li-ion battery and based on the DF331D. With an overall length of 179mm and a weight of just more than one kilogramme, this drill driver strikes the ideal mix between power and small-footprint adaptability. A new bearing type gives it greater load resistance than its predecessor. You can be confident that it can swiftly and effectively tackle the majority of second fix operations because it can drill up to 21 mm in wood and 10 mm in steel.
