Built around Makita's LXT 18V platform, it combines a robust all-metal gearbox, aluminium gear housing and a high-efficiency brushless motor to deliver up to 2,000 rpm, 30,000 blows per minute and 54 Nm of torque in a lightweight, well-balanced body. Two mechanical gears, 21 torque settings and variable speed trigger control allow precise adjustment for everything from delicate fixings to heavy-duty anchoring, while the integrated LED job lights help maintain accuracy in low-light areas. Extreme Protection Technology and durable construction make it well suited to trade environments such as construction, maintenance and fit-out work. Supplied as a bare unit with belt clip and bit where stated, the DHP484Z is compatible with all Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion batteries and chargers.
