The Makita DHP453Z 18V LXT Cordless Combi Drill is a versatile and powerful tool designed for a variety of drilling tasks. It features two mechanical metal gears, an electronic brake control, forward/reverse rotation, and a variable speed trigger for precise control. The drill operates on an 18V Lithium-Ion battery (LXT) and offers a maximum torque of 42Nm for hard applications and 27Nm for soft applications, with 16 torque settings plus a drill mode. The drill has a keyless chuck with a 13mm capacity and can handle machine screws up to 6mm, wood screws up to 6x75mm, and can drill up to 13mm in concrete and metal, and up to 36mm in wood. It weighs approximately 1.7 to 1.9 kg depending on the battery used, and includes a double-ended bit. Note that it does not have an LED job light or battery capacity indicator.
