The Makita LS002GZ01 XGT® Slide Compound Mitre Saw is a powerful, brushless, cordless saw powered by a 40V max battery, ideal for demanding use. With a blade diameter of 216 mm and a no-load speed of 4,800 min⁻¹, it ensures efficient and precise cutting. The saw features a single sliding system and a rail-forward design, allowing it to be placed against a wall to maximize workspace. It offers a maximum cutting capacity of 70 x 312 mm at 90 degrees and is equipped with twin LED lights to illuminate the work area. This tool-only model requires a separate battery and charger. The brushless motor is maintenance-free and designed for a long life. Additional features include a large bevel lock lever, precision mitre angle adjustment, extendable sub-tables for stabilizing long material cuts, an Auto-start Wireless System (AWS) for connecting to a vacuum cleaner via Bluetooth, and a front knob for easy bevel angle adjustment. The saw also has a one-touch slide lock for easy operation.
