Product Description
Makita DSP600ZJ Twin 18V LXT 165mm Cordless Plunge Saw in a Makpac Case (Body Only)
The Makita DSP600ZJ Twin 18V LXT 165mm Cordless Plunge Saw in a Makpac Case (Body Only) is a professional plunge saw designed for precise, controlled cutting of large wood panels, worktops and sheet materials on site or in the workshop. Powered by two 18V LXT batteries in series to deliver 36V performance, it combines a BL™ brushless motor with Automatic Torque Drive Technology to maintain cutting speed and torque under load, giving smooth, accurate results in timber, MDF, melamine and similar materials. A variable speed range of 2,500-6,300 rpm, generous 56mm cutting depth at 0° and bevel capability from -1° to 48° with positive stops at 22.5° and 45° make it highly versatile for rip cuts, plunge cuts and bevel work. The depth stopper allows a shallow pre-cut for splinter-free edges, while the large rear dust port supports effective dust extraction. Supplied as a body-only unit with a 165mm TCT blade, hex wrench and Makpac Type 4 stacking case, it is compatible with Makita guide rails for straight, repeatable cuts.
DSP600ZJ Features:
- Twin 18V LXT battery system delivers 36V power, giving the Makita DSP600ZJ Cordless Plunge Saw corded-like performance for demanding plunge and rip cuts.
- High-efficiency BL™ brushless motor delivers up to 6,300 rpm, helping maximise runtime and maintain consistent cutting speed under load.
- Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT) adjusts cutting speed and torque to suit the material, optimising performance in timber, MDF, melamine and similar sheet goods.
- Variable speed control dial from 2,500 to 6,300 rpm allows you to match blade speed to different materials for cleaner, more controlled cuts.
- Generous cutting capacity of 56mm at 0° and 40mm at 45° makes it ideal for thick worktops, doors and large wood panels in professional carpentry and site work.
- Bevel range from -1° to 48° with positive stops at 22.5° and 45° enables accurate bevel and scribe cuts when fitting cabinetry and built-in furniture.
- Depth stopper and easy-to-set depth scale support pre-scoring passes for splinter-free edges, especially on laminated boards.
- Large rear dust port connects to extraction systems to help keep the cut line clear and the working environment cleaner.
- Rubberised soft grip handle and compact, ergonomic body reduce user fatigue during extended cutting sessions.
- Supplied in a Makpac stacking case, making it easy to transport, store and organise the plunge saw with other Makita power tools.
