The Makita DJR183Z 18V Cordless Mini Reciprocating Saw (Body Only) is a compact LXT power tool designed for fast, controlled cutting in wood, mild steel pipe and other site materials. Ideal for plumbers, electricians, maintenance engineers and general trades, it offers the reach and versatility of a reciprocating saw in a lightweight, easy-to-handle format. Delivering up to 3000 strokes per minute with a 13mm stroke length, it provides efficient cutting performance while the adjustable shoe helps maintain stability and maximise blade use. Two switch levers - a trigger on the handle and a paddle switch on the body - give variable speed control from multiple grip positions, making it well suited to overhead, in-between-joist and close-quarters work. A single LED job light with pre-glow function improves visibility in darker areas, and the rubberised soft grip enhances comfort during extended use. Supplied as a bare unit without battery or charger, it is compatible with Makita 18V LXT Lithium-ion batteries and standard reciprocating saw blades.
