An electronic clutch (E-Clutch) minimises kickback and guards against high-load scenarios for both the user and the tool.

The electronic advanced module with pack identification enables the unlocking of more power when you attach a FLEXVOLT battery, while the compact gear case improves access in constrained locations. A mesh guard keeps the engine from getting dusty for the grinder's extended lifespan, and the Wireless Tool Control lets you connect the grinder to the right dust extractor for cleaner working - especially when linked to the DWE46229 dust shroud.
