The Scheppach PL55 Plunge Saw is a precision cutting solution designed for woodworking, joinery, flooring installation and sheet material processing. Supplied with a guide rail system, it provides straight and controlled cutting performance while offering the flexibility to begin cuts directly within the workpiece.

Powered by a dependable 1200W motor operating at up to 5500rpm, the PL55 uses a 160mm 24-tooth saw blade to provide clean and efficient cutting. It offers a maximum cutting depth of 55mm at 90° and 45mm at 45°, making it suitable for timber, boards, flooring and other appropriate sheet materials.

The plunge-cutting mechanism allows the blade to enter the workpiece away from an edge, making the saw particularly useful for sink cut-outs, access openings and detailed installation work. Stepless bevel adjustment from 0° to 45° provides additional flexibility for angled cutting applications.

Designed for accurate workshop and site use, the PL55 features a guide rail compatible base, cutting depth display and a 38mm dust extraction connection. Its ability to cut as close as 16mm from a wall makes it particularly useful for flooring and renovation work where precise trimming is required.
