These screws have a unique Elementech 400 surface coating that resists corrosion and lasts up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings. They are also environmentally friendly, as they use a non-chromium, trivalent yellow/zinc plating. The ForgeFast Anti-Split Woodscrews have a double cutting point that reduces splitting and drive time, and a serrated cutting edge that reduces torque and improves pull out. The reinforced countersunk neck provides strong holding power, while the six angled lobes improve countersinking and prevent jacking, rotation, and splitting. These screws are capable of penetrating 0.8mm steel and are suitable for interior use.
