These woodscrews are designed for high performance and versatility in various wood applications. They have a durable surface coating that resists corrosion and is eco-friendly. They also have a deep Torx compatible head that allows for more power and stability. No need to drill a pilot hole, as these screws have a patented self-drilling thread that can pierce through 0.8mm steel. They also have a patented drill/drive shank that speeds up the installation, prevents splitting and jacking of the wood, and enhances the pull-out and fix strength. The sharp point ensures a quick bite, and the unique self-drilling shank can handle most substrates, including hardwood. The case and core are hardened for extra strength, and the recessed ribs improve the countersinking. These screws can flex up to 35°, which reduces the risk of screw shearing and working loose in substrates that flex in use. They are CE approved for load-bearing timber construction.
