The Makita DJV184Z LXT 18V Brushless Top Handle Jigsaw (Body Only) is a cordless power tool designed for fast, accurate cutting in wood, metal and plastics on site or in the workshop. As part of the Makita 18V LXT cordless power tools range, it combines a compact top handle layout with a brushless motor to deliver strong cutting performance while keeping weight and vibration low. Three orbital settings plus straight cutting allow you to balance speed and finish, while variable speed control up to 3,000 strokes per minute supports precise work on curves, notches and detailed cuts. Soft start, electric brake and anti-restart functions improve control and safety, and the integrated LED light and forced dust collection help keep the cutting line visible. The die-cast aluminium base plate bevels up to 45 degrees left and right for mitre and scribe cuts. The Makita DJV184Z is supplied as a body only jigsaw and typically includes a hex wrench and cover plate, ready to pair with your existing Makita 18V LXT Li-Ion batteries.
