Hyundai DHY18KSEm 18kW/22.5kVA Single Phase Diesel Generator

The DHY18KSEm is a powerful single-phase diesel generator from Hyundai, suitable for providing your home or business with either prime power or backup power. Powered by a 21hp HY490 diesel engine, it can produce a maximum output of 22.5KVA / 18kW backup power and 20KVA / 16kW prime power. It can be started manually or connected to an ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) system, which will automatically turn on the generator when a loss of power is detected. The digital control panel gives instant visibility for maintenance, and the generator is housed in a weather-proof ‘silenced’ canopy, producing only 66dB @ 7 metres. The canopy undergoes an anti-corrosion painting process for maximum protection. This 1500rpm generator is ideal for static installation for daily prime power or regular standby use, with slower running, water-cooled engines that are less stressed and prolong its lifespan. It runs happily on budget-friendly red diesel and is equipped with an AVR alternator to produce clean energy, suitable for powering sensitive electronic equipment.
